En este estudio se identifican los delitos que cometen los personajes de La Celestina según el derecho civil vigente en aquella época, el cual se contiene en Las Siete Partidas. En la medida en que los delitos constituyen las acciones definitorias de los personajes principales, expresan el etos de una obra compuesta con una conciencia jurídica sistémica por el bachiller en Leyes Fernando de Rojas. Asimismo, los actos ilegales tienen como causa dominante la «desesperación» de quienes los realizan. Esto último conduce a Pleberio a la soledad del individuo moderno.

In this study the crimes that the characters of La Celestina commit are identified according to the civil law active during that time, which is contained in Las Siete Partidas. As much as the crimes constitute the definitive actions of the principal characters, they express the ethos of a work composed with a systematic legal conscience by the «bachiller en Leyes» Fernando de Rojas. Likewise, the illegal acts have as a dominant cause the «desesperación» of the ones performing them.
This conducts Pleberio to the solitude of the modern individual.
