  • The article reports that the business sector has rejected a regulation of asset managers in the U.S. It mentions that the Financial Stability Oversight Council could propose the regulation of asset managers under the Dodd-Frank Act to avoid possible risk that financial or nonfinancial companies may create to the financial system. Information on some flaws about the asset management and financial stability report by the Office of Financial Research is provided.
