    • This article examines some of the changes brought about by the introduction of natural language processing (NLP) technologies in terminology work. During the last decades, terminology projects haye changed drastically due mostly to the introduction of computer applications and the availability of corpora in electronic form. The basic tasks related to specialized dictionary compilation are listed and examined from the point of view of their possible automation. Examples of applications to the special subjects fields of computing and climate change in English and in French serve to illustrate the process of dictionary compilation with NLP technologies.
