Resumen de Microstructure of glasses and glass-ceramics in the TeO2-B2O3-GeO2 system

Investigations are carried out on the processes of glass-formation, liquid phase separation and crystallization of the glasses in the system Te02-B203-Ge02. The microstructure of the compositions synthesized and the short range order of some glasses are determined by transmission electron microscopy and electron diffraction. It is established that varying the composition and the conditions of the thermal treatment glass-ceramics with different crystal sizes can be obtained.
