Resumen de L'intercommunalité en France comme objet de recherche.: entre évaluation des dispositifs et analyses des processus d¿institutionnalisation

  En Francia, la mancomunidad, la posibilidad que se ofrece a los municipios de agruparse en una nueva institución, s in que ello suponga su desaparición como tales, es una posibilidad relativam ente antigua. Sin embargo, exceptuando los juristas, pocos investigadores de otras disciplinas se han interesado por la cuestión. Es a partir de finales de los años noventa (1990), a partir de las importantes reformas que se llevaron a cabo, cuando geógrafos, economistas y sociólogos lo comenzaron a considerar como objeto de estudio. Pero han sido sobre todo los politólogos quienes han aportado una nueva visión de la «mancomunidad». Este artículo trata de mostrar, de manera sintética, las principales tendencias de sus investigaciones en Francia; para concluir, finalmente, que aunque relativamente activas, de momento se han quedado consignadas en su propia disciplina.

  In France, the commonwealth of municipalities, tha t is the possibility for municipalities to gather in a new i nstitution, without meaning its extinction, is a relatively old option. Neverth eless, apart from jurists, few researchers from other disciplines have been interested in the subject. It is from the end of the nineties (1990), after the important amendments carried out when geographers, economists and sociologists started to consider it as a subject of study. But political scientists have specially been who have contributed with a new vision of «commonwealth». This article tries to show, concisely, the main tendencies of their researches in France; in order to conclude that although they have been relatively active, so far they have been restricted to their own discipline.

  Frantzian, mankomunitatea (hau da, udalerriei, bak oitza desagertu gabe, erakunde berria osatzen dutela biltzeko aukera ematea), aukera antzinako samarra da. Halere, legelariak aparte utzita, bestelako diziplinatako ikerlari gutxi jardun dira mankomunitateak aztertzen. Laurog eita hamarreko hamarkadaren bukaeran hasi ziren, garai hartan egindako erre forma garrantzitsu haien ondoren, hainbat arlotako ikastunak, geografo, ekonomista nahiz soziologo, mankomunitatea ikertzeko kontzeptutzat hartzen. Baina politologoak izan dira, nagusiki, «mankomunitatea» delakoaren ikuspegi berria zabaldu dutenak. Artikulu honek, sintetikoki, Frantzian arlo honetan egindako ikerketek erakutsi dituzten joera nagusiak azaldu nahi ditu, nahiz, azkenean, ikerketa horiek, aktibo samarrak izanagatik ere, beren diziplina horretan geratu diren egonean, oraingoz behintzat.
