Resumen de Rare, Serious Skin Reactions From Acetaminophen

Diane S. Aschenbrenner

  • * Acetaminophen use can, in very rare instances, produce serious, life-threatening skin infections, such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, and acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis.

    * These skin reactions can occur anytime with the use of acetaminophen, even if the drug has been used safely in the past.
