Resumen de Firme e monogrammi d'artista: "R Magister" e Bartolomeo Tinti da Modena
Thanks to the discovery of a monogram at the end of some quires, in this paper we propose to identify the illuminator of a Bolognese masterpiece of the fourteenth century, the MS Cesena, Bibl. Malatestiana, S.IV.1, with Rodolfo di Giovanni (m. 1348 ca.), member of a family engaged in different ways in the book production in Bologna. Moreover, the essay indicates the name of Bartolomeo Tinti from Modena, scribe and illuminator in Bologna in the second half of the thirteenth century, appearing in some quires of the MS Durham, Cathedral Library, C.I.3.
