  • Resumen
    • A laboratory experiment for the synthesis of cobalt and nickel oxalates and their subsequent pyrolysis to their respective elementary metals is described. The oxalates are obtained by a metathesis reaction and the pyrolysis products (especially cobalt) show remarkable catalytic activity in the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.
