    El artículo aborda la ep. 140 de san Agustín para plantear la cuestión de si esa carta y el "De utilitate credendi" tienen idéntico destinatario, pues ambos se llaman Honorato. Se expone también lo que Agustín entiende por gracia del Nuevo Testamento, tal y como esta ha quedado reflejada en la ep. 140. Se comparan las estructuras narrativas de la carta y del "De utilitate credendi", buscando con ello más argumentos a favor de la identidad de los respectivos destinatarios. Se repasan asimismo los argumentos antimaniqueos presentes en ep. 140, para comprobar si su destinatario es el mismo que el de "util. cred.", pues este Honorato era maniqueo.

    The article deals with Augustine's "ep.140", and the possible identity of the addressee of "ep.140" and the one of "until. cred.". It also deals with the main characteristics of the New Testament's grace as Augustine presents it in "ep. 140." Later it makes a comparison between the narrative structure of "until. cred." and "ep. 140", trying to find an argument to support the hypothesis of the identity of both Honoratus. It presents also the antimanichean arguments which are presented in "ep.140", since Honoratus was a former Manichean.
