lt is very frequent in the clinic orthodontic to find us with cases of agenesis. Among the most common are those of the incisive lateral superior and those of the lower seconds premolars (without counting as impotence the absence of the third molar parties). Before a case with agenesis of incisive lateral superior, from the orthodontic point of view, we can opt for: to close the spaces converting the canine in lateral, in the cases with serious overcrowding or classes II; or to maintain those spaces for thereinafter to put a prothesis or implants. This is the better option in most cases, since avoids to flatten the profile and the dental aesthetics is not seen so committed. We present a case where we illustrate this option, with maintenance of the space of two upper lateral for then to put implants.
