    El fin de este artículo es determinar el grado de salud bucodental de los escolares de 6 a 14 años de una población rural de Galicia (Guitiriz), así como su distribución por edad y sexo. También valoramos el nivel de atención dental y la aproximación a los objetivos que la OMS fija en Europa para el año 2000.

    The aim of this paper is to find out the degree of dental health of 6 to 14 year old schoolchildren in the municipality of Guitiriz, and also the health according to age and sex. We also look at the level of dental care and how this relates to the objectives set by WHO for Europe for the year 2000.
