Resumen de Finitud, erotismo y experiencia mística en San Juan de la Cruz

La tesis a demostrar es que tanto el erotismo de los cuerpos como el erotismo sagrado se originan en el deseo de continuidad que surge de la conciencia de finitud a la que el existente arriba cuando asume propiamente su ser-para-la-muerte.
Mientras que el amor-eros es la tendencia ontológica que explica el deseo de los bienes finitos y el enamoramiento incipiente de Dios, el amor-ágape es el sentido último de la experiencia mística. El propósito es mostrar que el amor humano y el amor místico no son posibilidades existenciales excluyentes.
Si bien es cierto que el misticismo exige la renuncia a cualquier otro amor y apego, también lo es que, en sus inicios, la búsqueda de Dios no surge del 0, sino del enamoramiento del Esposo Cristo. Ésta es una reflexión filosófica sobre el proceso místico como tránsito del amor-eros al amor-ágape de Dios. El testimonio del que se parte para la comprensión del misticismo como proceso de transformación vital es el Cántico Espiritual B de San Juan de la Cruz.

I try to demostrate that both the eroticism of bodies and the sacred eroticism are originated in the desire for continuity, which arises from the consciousness of finitude, consciousness that is achieved by the subject when he assumes by himself his being-towards-death. While eros-love is the ontological tendency that explains the desire of finite goods and the incipient infatuation inGod, agape-love is the ultimate meaning of mystical experience. The purpose is to show that human love and mystical love are not mutually exclusive existential possibilities. Though it is true that mysticism requires giving up any other type of love and addiction, it is also true that in the beginning the quest for God�s doesn�t arise from agape-love, but from the falling in love of the Bridegroom Christ. This is a philosophical reflection on the mystical process from eros-love to agape-love of God. The testimony of that party for the understanding of mysticism as a vital transformation process is the Spiritual Canticle B of St. John of the Cross.
