    el autor comienza por desmentir el mito de que no existe la filosofía de la tecnología. Hace un breve recuento histórico de sus principales exponentes � sobre todo desde el campo ingenieril� y pasa a la argumentación. Presenta argumentos en contra de la existencia independiente de la filosofía de la tecnología, los rebate y presenta argumentos a favor de ella. Su objetivo es que esta disciplina se vea como un campo de investigación propio, sin estar sujeto a otros �como, por ejemplo, la filosofía de la ciencia.

He makes a brief historical narrative of its main exponents �particularly those coming from an engineering background� and goes on to the discussion. He presents arguments against the independence of the Philosophy of Technology, refutes them and argues in favour. His purpose is that this discipline may be considered an autonomous research field, instead of being subject to others �for example, Philosophy of Science.
