  Es cierto que hablar de integración cooperativa constituye, sin duda, un lugar común en muchos programas y planes de acción, ya que, por un lado se viene haciéndose de forma paulatina y, por otro, constituye un objetivo largamente perseguido por el sector. Pero constituye hasta este momento una de las asignaturas pendientes en la modernización de la agricultura española y la estructuración del sector, ya que si bien se viene registrando un cambio progresivo, su avance resulta excesivamente lento y requiere un impulso político decidido para conseguir avances significativos. El Ministerio de Agricultura, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente ha asumido el compromiso de trabajar a favor de la integración de la oferta. Esta nueva ley forma parte de una estrategia política de más largo alcance que comprende diferentes medidas destinadas a mejorar el funcionamiento de la cadena alimentaria, buscan¬do especialmente reforzar el poder de negociación de los productores.

  It is true that talk of cooperative integration constitutes, without a doubt, a common ground in many programmes and action plans, since, on the one hand, it has been gradually happening and, on the other hand, it is a long-awaited aim of the sector.

  But it remains to date one of the pending matters in the modernisation of Spanish farming and the structuring of the sector, since, although progressive changes have been noted, the advancement is too slow and a clear political impulse is required to achieve significant progress.The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment is committed to working in favour of integrating the offer.
