    A pesar de la física cuántica y la psicología transpersonal, en pleno siglo XXI la economía imperante se basa en una ontología decimonónica: es reduccionista y fragmentadora, y ve el mundo como una suma aleatoria de objetos inertes y cuantificables que están ahí para que los explotemos. Una economía más sana y humana bajará de los laberintos de abstracciones a la vida concreta de las personas y el planeta. Transformará el modo de emplear los hemisferios cerebrales, integrando el hemisferio analítico al servicio del hemisferio holístico, que es el que en una mente sana tiene la primera y la última palabra.

    Despite quantum physics and transpersonal psychology, the economics prevailing in the 21st century is based on a 19thcentury ontology:

    it is reductionist and fragmentary and sees the world as a random sum of inert and quantifiable objects that are there to be exploited.

    A healthier and more humane economics would descend from the labyrinths of abstraction to the specific life of people and the planet. It would transform how we use the hemispheres of our brain, integrating the analytical sphere in the service of the holistic sphere, which is what has the first and last word in a healthy mind.
