  • We show several examples of VRML and web3D implementations when teaching biology or ecology. First the use of VRML in the evaluation of electrophysiological data is shown, then we describe the virtual terrain generation of an ecologically important marsh in our vicinity and finally we show the field cricket modeled in VRML – a project that explains the processing of acoustical information in incests and their neural correlates of behaviour.
