    El presente artículo propone una interpretación política y económica de José Ortega y Gasset desde la actualidad. Una interpretación integradora de libertad e igualdad, y economía privada y pública, consecuencia de una filosofía a la altura de los tiempos, cuya característica principal es la integración. Sin olvidar su referencia a la necesidad de la unidad económica europea, tan oportuna en la actual crisis económica.

    The current article proposes a political and economic interpretation of José Ortega y Gasset from the present situation. An integrative interpretation of freedom and equality, and private and public economy, consequence of the philosophy at the height of the times and whose main characteristic is the integration. Without forgetting his reference to the necessity of the European economic unity, so timely in the current economic crisis.
