En este artículo recorremos la experiencia de una mujer que anticipó con su praxis y sus escritos la apertura que supuso el Concilio Vaticano II. En el itinerario de su persona y de su obra encontramos esa capacidad de situarse de manera dialogante y comprometida en lo concreto y la posibilidad de vivir, en la cotidianeidad y en el presente, una vida profunda, mística, y muy sencilla a la vez. Madeleine Delbrêl, descubrió las circunstancias favorables para la evangelización en los tiempos difíciles que le tocó vivir, desplegó una espiritualidad misionera en su barrio obrero de París, y nos invita a unir, de manera creativa y lúcida, la predicación y el ejemplo, las palabras y la vida.

In this article we survey the experience of a woman who, with her praxis and through her writings, anticipated that openness of spirit which meant to be and spread around, the Second Vatican Council. In the itinerary of her person and of her work, we find the capacity she owned to situate herself on that dialoguing and committed mood in the concrete, and the possibility of living, in daily life and in the present moment, a very deep life, a mystical, and, at the same time, a very simple life. Madeleine Delbrêl discovered the favorable circumstances for evangelization in the difficult times in which she happened to live, she displayed a missionary spirituality in her Paris working-class suburb, and she now invites us to join, in a creative and luminous way, the preaching and the testimony, the words and the life.
