    Este artículo se fundamenta en una propuesta de innovación docente planteada para los alumnos universitarios de Educación Infantil, propuesta que surge al confirmar la escasa atención que se concede al potencial educativo del Patrimonio y la Historia del Arte a lo largo de las etapas educativas obligatorias. La metodología de aprendizaje conjuga el estudio de casos y el role-playing y pretende estar próxima a la realidad profesional de los futuros maestros. Mediante el trabajo cooperativo, los estudiantes deben hacer sus propios proyectos pedagógicos sobre elementos patrimoniales de su entorno y después deben presentar sus actividades mientras el resto las experimenta "como si fuesen niños". Las sesiones dedicadas en el aula permiten valorar la eficacia, viabilidad y utilidad de cada proyecto y hacer hincapié en el valor del Arte en la sociedad del conocimiento del siglo XXI

    This article is based on a proposal for teaching innovation aimed at university students studying Infant Education. The proposal arises from the need to redress the scant attention paid to the educational potential of Cultural Heritage and the History of Art during this compulsory educational stage. The learning methodology brings together case studies and role-playing with the intention of recreating professional situations for future teachers working this discipline. Through cooperative work the students have to create their own pedagogical projects regarding heritage monuments from their immediate surroundings. These are then presented to the other students, who carry out the activities 'as if they were the pupils'. These classroom sessions allow them to evaluate the efficiency, viability and usefulness of each project and to emphasize the importance of Art to the knowledge-society of the 21st century.
