This paper estimates tourism demand for Greece with annual Greek tourism revenues from 1975 to 2009. The paper builds on an earlier study by including tourism revenues for Italy, Spain and Turkey as possible tourism substitute countries for Greece. Greek tourism is found to be price elastic, suggesting that a return to the drachma and depreciation would increase tourism revenue in Greece.
