The main objective of these notes is to highlight the most outstanding features of both the form and the content of the philosophical-political notebooks written by Hannah Arendt from 1950 until 1973. At the same time, against the background of her intellectual biography, I will try to enquire the meaning of her decision of starting to write such a new series of annotations
