La ambliopia estrabica y su tratamiento

  • We submit concep of strabismal amplyopia and the existing opinions with respct to their frequency, pathogeny and diagnosis. We then analyze the prophylactic and pleopectic treatments and the results obtained by different investigators with the usual techniques comparing them with ours when we have limited ourselves to occusion of the healthy eye, monoculus exercises of the amblyope and binocular with the synoptophor, obtaining favorable conclusions for these simple classic techniques, which have not been clearly surpassed by the complicated modern methods of pleoptique. We suggest the advantage of investigating new courses and propose to associate to the Pleoptofor a device similar to Film-visuscop. Discusión: Dr. Arruga, A., Dr. Díaz Domínguez. Réplica: Al Dr. A.
