  • The article focuses on Inner Spaces, Outher Faces Initiative (ISOFI), a community-based intervention designed to encourage communities and couples to discuss, reflect on and question harmful gender and social norms. One of its interventions include initiatives to teach men to be more involved fathers and husbands which yielded improvements in their attitudes and behaviors. It notes that reducing violence in India's communities requires comprehensive social, political and economic changes
