  • The article discusses Norway's aims to enhance knowledge in and about the High North, increase its activity in the region and pursue sustainable economic and social development. It notes how the well-documented climate changes in the Arctic offers reasons to worry due to its key role in the global climate. It cites the need to further strengthen cross-border cooperation and ensure sustainable use of resources and for Norway to remain a responsible and cooperative partner in the Arctic
