    El objetivo del presente artículo es describir el proceso de comprensión de las formas de aprendizaje de los conocimientos en relación al uso de plantas medicinales, con base al análisis de la realidad sociocultural donde se práctica, que vivió una organización de mujeres que condujo a una propuesta educativa para el Centro Alternativo de Desarrollo Integral Indígena (CADIN) en San Antonio Sihó, Halachó, Yucatán. El estudio se llevó a cabo en la localidad en el marco de una Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP) lo que permitió a las mujeres participantes reflexionar analíticamente la realidad y comprender las formas de aprendizaje con sentido cultural contribuyendo a sentar las bases metodológicas y principios educativos en el CADIN pertinentes al contexto social y cultural.

    The objective of this article is to describe the comprehension process of the social reality, that led to the educational proposal within an organization of women belonging to the Alternative Center of Indigenous Integral Development (CADIN, for its initials in Spanish) in San Antonio Sihó, Halachó, Yucatán. The comprehension of this group about this reality takes place within the frame of a Participative Action Investigation (IAP, for its initials in Spanish) in relationship to medicinal plants in their community. Such investigation (IAP) allows them to analytically reflect upon the reality and the learning process of the cultural knowledge as part of it, laying the methodological foundations in the CADIN and educational principles that are pertinent to the social and cultural context of their locality.
