Resumen de Expectativas de Europa como destino turísitico de países BRIC

En este artículo se exponen los principales datos macroeconómicos de Brasil, Rusia, India, China y Turquía y se analiza el impacto que cada uno tiene sobre el sector turístico internacional así como los motivos por los que deciden viajar los turistas internacionales (ocio, visitar familiares, trabajo ...), la vía de transporte (avión, tren, bus, coche) sus destinos preferidos y el papel de Europa como país receptor. La última parte del trabajo recoge conclusiones sobre los flujos de turistas procedentes de estas potencias emergentes y propuestas para atraer más turistas internacionales al continente europeo.

The article states the main macroeconomic data of Brazil, Russia; India and China, also known as the BRIC countries or alternatively as the Big Four. Besides, Turkey is analyzed because will be in a similar stage of newly advanced economic development. The aim of this work is studying the impact each country has over the international tourism: find out what motivates the journeys (leisure, visiting family and friends, business ...), the means of transport (plane, train, bus, car), preferred destinations and Europe's role as a receiver. The last part depicts several conclusions about the mentioned tourist flows as well as some proposals and strategies that Europe can develop in the tourist industry under the aiming to attract the BRIC.
