Resumen de La evolución del casco urbano de Los Santos de Maimona desde el siglo XV al primer tercio del siglo XX

  En este estudio se muestra la evolución del casco urbano y la nomenclatura de sus Calles y Plazas desde el siglo XV hasta el primer tercio del XX así como la ubicación de las ermitas ya desaparecidas y de los conventos/hospitales que hubo en la población. Se muestran aquí planos de la población en los siglos XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX/1, XIX/2, Y XX, basándonos en las Actas de las Visitas de la Orden de Santiago y Censos de población que se conservan en el Archivo Municipal de la Villa así como de otros documentos extraídos del Archivo de Protocolos Notariales relativos a Los Santos que se custodian en el Archivo Municipal de Zafra, mas algunos legajos de archivos particulares y referencias bibliográficas. También haremos una somera relación de las industrias y artesanos más representativos de cada época

  This study shows the evolution of the city area and the nomenclature of its street and squares, since the XVth century to the first third of the XXth century, as well as the localitation of the long gone hermitages and monasteries/hospitals that were in town.

  The work also shows the village´s maps (XV-XVI-XVII-XVIII XIX & XXth Century), based on the records of the visits of de Order of Santiago and the census of the town that are preserved in de Municipal Archive of the city, along with other documents taken from the Archives of Notarial Protocols relative to Los Santos de Maimona kept in the Municipals Archives of Zafra, plus some documentes from personals archives and bibliographical references. We will also do a superficial acount of the most representative industries and craftmen of the time.
