Resumen de La Emergencia del Campo Interestatal

En el presente artículo expongo cómo la sociedad interestatal ha ido cambiando de modelo de organización tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial y, en especial, con la llegada de la globalización. Tomando la teoría de Pierre Bourdieu como punto de partida, mostraré cómo el campo de las relaciones interestatales se está independizando cada vez más de los campos políticos de cada uno de los Estados. Esto se debe a la aparición de nuevos tipos de actores en la esfera interestatal, pero también, al cambio de las reglas de funcionamiento interno de la misma, sus fuentes de legitimidad, los capitales que usa y los habitus que genera. Ilustraré el funcionamiento de cada aspecto del campo previo a esta nueva situación y el actual para resaltar con ello las diferencias y evoluciones que llevan a que la emergencia del nuevo modelo de gobernanza global sea el corolario de la suma de todos esos cambios. Finalmente, haré una breve descripción del campo resultante, con sus problemas, virtudes y configuración actuales.

In the present paper I show how the inter-state society has been changing its model of organization since the end of the Second World War, especially since the beginning of the globalization. Taking Pierre Bourdieu�s theory as a starting point, I�ll show how the field of inter-state relations is becoming increasingly independent from the political fields of each State. This is due to the emergence of new sorts of actors in the inter-state sphere, but also to changes in its own internal functioning, the sources of its legitimacy, the capitals it uses and the habitus it generates. I�ll show how each aspect of the field used to work before this new situation came and how it does now to illustrate the differences and evolutions that lead to the emergence of the new global governance as the result of the sum of all those changes. Finally I�ll make a brief description of the resulting field with its problems, virtues and configuration.
