  • Resumen
    • Stevens-Johnson syndrome is mainly induced by drugs, although a small percentage of cases is due to other etiologies. Its clinical manifestation is mainly due to the appearance of characteristic lesions accompanied by an epidermal detachment less than 10% of the body surface area which in some cases may progress to toxic epidermal necrolysis (epidermal detachment more than 30%). In this article, we report the case of a patient who developed this pathology after starting treatment with lamotrigine, detailing after the established treatment and stating that the multidisciplinary coordination among the health professionals is necessary to achieve satisfactory outcomes and minimize the consequences caused by the syndrome
