    En el presente Artículo de investigación se realiza una descripción en cuanto al desarrollo reciente en materia de infraestructura, además de examinar los arreglos institucionales que proporcionaron mayor compresión espacio-temporal en el Chaco Central. Con el objetivo de comprender las transformaciones ocurridas durante las últimas tres décadas en los usos del suelo, se muestran estadísticas y mapas que respaldan las hipótesis aquí planteadas. De esta manera, se describen los avances del cultivo de la soja, la reducción y el desplazamiento del stock ganadero, así como la extracción de petróleo en territorio indígena.

    This Research Article carries out a description of the recent infrastructure development, in addition of examining the institutional arrangements that provided a major time-space compression in Central Chaco. Aiming to understand the transformations in land use during the last three decades, through the use of statistics and maps that affirm the established hypotheses. The results include evidence of an increase of the soybean crops, a reduction and displacement of cattle stock and the oil extraction in indigenous territories.
