La inmigración francesa en Villanueva del Arzobispo en los siglos XVII y XVIII

    Desde la segunda mitad del siglo XVII y a lo largo de gran parte del siglo XVIII se produjo en Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén) un goteo incesante de franceses que vinieron a establecerse en esta localidad. Muchos de ellos, venidos desde diferentes puntos del territorio francés, acabaron asimilándose con la población autóctona, arrastrando algunos de ellos su apellido hasta la fecha presente.

    From the second half of the 17th century on wards, and during the most time in the 18th century, there was in Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén) a slow but constant flow of french folk settling down in this town. Many of them, who came from several locations of the french territory, blended with the native population, making some of their surnames reach our days as a heritage.

    Depuis la seconde moitié du XVIIème siècle, et le long d�une grande partie du XVIIIème siècle, se produisit à Villanueva del Arzobispo (Jaén), une arriviée au compte goutte incessante de francais qui vinrent s�installer dans cette localité.

    Beaucoup d�entre eux, venus de différentes parties du territoire francais, finirent par s�intégrer à la population locale (autochtone), transmettant pour certains, leur nom de famille jusqu�à aujourd�hui.
