Resumen de Percepción de utilidad y grado de satisfacción del alumnado de formación del profesorado con el Método del Caso

  Este artículo recoge la opinión sobre el Método del Caso (MdC) del alumnado universitario participante en dos experiencias de implementación de esta metodología activa, en el marco del Programa Eragin (2010) de la Universidad del País Vasco-Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV-EHU), en asignaturas del grado de Maestro en Educación Infantil y del posgrado de Formación del Profesorado de Educación Secundaria: Psicología de la Educación e Innovación docente e inicio a la investigación educativa en el área de Ciencias Sociales, Geografía e Historia, respectivamente.

  Se obtuvo la opinión de una muestra formada por 94 estudiantes, que respondieron a un cuestionario diseñado ad hoc. Los resultados reflejan una percepción positiva del alumnado hacia el empleo de esta metodología frente a otras más tradicionales y su satisfacción con la misma. Por consiguiente, avalan las ventajas atribuidas al método por la literatura científica y alientan a continuar con su implementación en la formación universitaria.

  This article reports on the opinion about the Case Method (CM) of university students participating in two experiences of active implementation of this methodology in the training program Eragin (2010) in the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU). The study was conducted in the degree in Nursery Education and the Masters' Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education: Education Psychology and Innovation initiated teaching and educational research in the area of Social Sciences, Geography and History courses, respectively. The research relies on a sample of 94 subjects who responded to a uestionnaire designed ad hoc. The results reflect the students' positive perception towards the use of this methodology against more traditional ones and their global satisfaction with this approach. Therefore, the study endorses the advantages attributed to this method in the literature and encourages researchers to continue working in the implementation of this methodology in higher education.
