Este artículo expone la filosofía posmoderna del sujeto y la ética. En la concepción de Vattimo, el ser se ha debilitado: es acontecer. El pensamiento, el sujeto y la ética también se han debilitado. El pensamiento ya no se concibe como reconocimiento de un fundamento objetivo perentorio (objeto, esencia, estructura). El pensamiento y la ética, sin dar motivo a la violencia, desarrollan hoy otro tipo de responsabilidad, sabiendo que el ser se ha debilitado, olvidado y se puede vivir sin él. La ética debilitada tiene aún un "principio de caridad": debe recordar la cuestión del ser, pero no para revivirlo sino para interpretar su muerte. esta posición es confrontada con la del filósofo M.F. Sciacca.

This paper presents the subject and ethics in postmodern philosophy. In Vattimo's philosophical conception, the "being" has weakened and has become "happening". Thought, the subject and ethics have also become weaker. Thought is no longer conceived as the acknowledgement of a decisive objective foundation (object, essence, structures). Aware of the fact that the human being is weaker, that he has forgotten them and that he can live without them, thought and ethics, without producing any violence, are currently developing a different type of responsibility. The weakened ethics still preserves a "charity principle": the "being" issue should be kept in mind, not to revive it, but to interpret its death. This view is confronted with M.F. Sciacca's conception.
