  • The following article analyses the way Roberto Bolaño deals with the transcription through fiction of the military coup in 1973. The short novel « Detectives » is neither a testimonial text nor the autobiography of a victim but introduces of a new historical paradigm : In the present Chili victims and tormenters share the same visceral community of loss.
