  • This article aims to include/understand the reasons for which the adverb of totality tout can combine with the space adverb over là-bas, whereas it cannot in any case to be associated with ici.

    We will try to answer this question in three stages. First of all by briefly interesting us in the marker of totality all of which we will see that it imposes the taking into account of a certain number of semantic-pragmatic parameters. We present then operation reference frame of the adverbs of place here and over there and in particular their semantic matrix. Finally the last stage proposes our explanation which, while being based on the preceding parts, enables us to answer the initial question.
