En este artículo se busca visibilizar las dimension es de género que se manifiestan en la relación entr e producción y reproducción y dar cuenta de las derivaciones que t iene la incorporación de este espacio de análisis e n la teoría eco- nómica, retomando los aportes de la economía femini sta, pero también tomando de la historia y de la an tropología ele- mentos claves para su comprensión. Se analiza la ma nera en que la dimensión del trabajo doméstico y de cuidados resulta esencial para comprender el funcionamiento sistémico, aprehendiendo la vinculación histórica e ntre los procesos de producción y reproducción; así como también resa ltar la debilidad del tratamiento que las distintas corrientes de pensamiento económico le han dado históricamente al tema.
This article aims to raise awareness of the gender dimensions that manifest in the relationship betwee n production and reproduction and examine the derivations of the inc orporation of this area of analysis in economic the ory, retaking the contributions of feminist economics, but also takin g history and anthropology as key elements for unde rstanding. We analyze how the domestic and care work is essential to understanding the systemic functioning, seizing the historical link between the processes of production and reproductio n, as well as highlighting the weakness of treatmen t that economic theory has given historically to the subject.
