    Tras el gran éxito de la ópera Lady MacBeth de Mcensk de D. Sostakovic, en 1936 resurge en la Unión Soviética una nueva oleada de críticas contra el "formalismo", el avant-garde, y toda idea innovadora que atentara contra la "integridad estética" del pueblo soviético. El Comité Central del Partido inicia entonces su nueva cruzada política bajo ideal gorkiano del "realismo socialista", imponiéndose como la estética oficial del estado soviético.

    Following the great success of the Sostakovic's opera Lady Macbeth, in 1936 emerge in the Soviet Union a new wave of critics against formalism, the avant-garde , and all new idea that put in danger the aesthetic integrity of the soviet people. The Communist Party begins then his new political crusade under de Gorki's ideal of the "socialistic realism", and imposes it as the official aesthetics of the Soviet State.
