    «Los judíos y Europa» (1939) es un texto importante en la producción de Max Horkheimer. En él se aprecian desplazamientos intelectuales y de diagnóstico decisivos para comprender el trabajo teórico del Institut für Sozialforschung en el exilio, tales como la consideración de la centralidad del cambio de fase del capi-talismo y sus conexiones con el antisemitismo, la guerra y el fascismo. Esta in-troducción pretende contextualizar la primera traducción española del artículo.

    «The Jews and Europe» (1939) is an important text within Max Horkheimer's work. It shows paramount tendencies and changes in the theoretical work of the Institut für Sozialforschung in exile, such as the centrality of the new stage of capi-talism and its connections with anti-Semitism, war and fascism. This brief in-troduction is intended to provide a context for the first spanish translation of the article.
