According to Luke, already in His first words Jesus discloses His intimate relationship with God: «??? ?de?te e? t?'?? t?? pat??? µ?? de? e??a? µe» (Lc 2,49). Herethis particularpoint will be examined, why Jesus speaks of God as "my Father" at this point in the narrative. Precisely for this reason, Lk 1 -2 will be analysed, so as to bring to light the divine fatherly dimension present in the events there narrated. Jesus knows of these events - especially through his mother (as suggested by the term ??µa) - and comes to understand them ever more deeply, on the basis of the Scriptures of Israel, to which they refer back. Thus, thanks to divine grace (cf.Lk 1,35; 2,40.52), He uniquely understands the truth of God in Himself, truth that is formulated by the expression that best includes and manifests the diverse aspects revealed by God and above all the personal, profound and intimate bond of the Son with the Father, namely: My Father!
