Robyn Holmes

  • Since establishing a music section in 1973, the National Library of Australia ha provided national leadership and coordination for music libraries across Australia. While building the largest research collection of music, manuscripts and music information in Australia, the Library has supported the whole sector, by enhancing music in the national bibliographic database and developing digital technologies to support collaborative national discovery and access. A curatorial approach has enhanced the Library's ability to acquire, preserve, manage, document and interpret Australia's musical endeavour, historical to contemporay, and to provide services to users from the specialist musician to the general public.
