Resumen de Osservatorio UNAR: libertà religiosa e discriminazione nell'ordinamento italiano

Marco De Giorgi

  • Freedom of religion is a principle that is considered to have a sort of «primate of honour» among the fundamental human rights. This paper traces the incorporating legislative process of the right to freedom of religion in Italy, in order to explore the problem of religious discrimination at national level, particularly in field of work, focusing on the role of UNAR (National Office Against Racial Discrimination) in monitoring discrimination cases, in promoting equal opportunities and in recommending anti-discrimination policies
