En torno a la asignatura "Educación para la ciudadanía": balance de una polémica (2007-2011)

    En nuestro trabajo comenzamos reflexionando en torno al concepto de ciudadanía y su repercusión en la articulación de los objetivos, competencias y contenidos, para desgranar a partir del mismo el origen de la polémica vinculada a la asignatura �Educación para la ciudadanía� desde su implantación en el curso 2006-2007 hasta el presente curso académico, donde vamos a asistir a su extinción. Continuaremos enfrentando los principios ideológicos que alimentaron tanto el �miedo�, la polémica� la oposición a la asignatura como la esperanza en una proyección social más progresista a través de sus contenidos con la realidad de la asignatura a través de sus protagonistas, mediante una encuesta cualitativa realizada a docentes y alumnos que nos situará en la cotidianidad de la materia en el aula para terminar apuntando algunas conclusiones en torno al presente y ¿proyección de futuro? de la nueva disciplina llamada a sustituirla �Educación cívica y constitucional�.

    In our research we started thinking about the concept of citizenship and its impact on the objectives and competencies, shelling from the same origin of the controversy which is related to the subject �Education for citizenship�, from its implantation in 2006 until the current academic year, when we are attending to its extinction. We continue to confront the ideological principles that �fed� both of the �fear� and the controversial ... So that, we analyse the opposition to the subject as the hope for a more progressive social projection, through its contents with the reality of the subject through its characters. In addition to this situation, we offer the results of a qualitative survey made between teachers and students, which will put us in the current matter in the classroom. We will finish jotting down some conclusions about this and about a possible projection of future for the new subject which is called to replace it:
