    Deleuze tematizó a Platón como el más importante precursor de la cuádruple raíz de la representación. La noción de simulacro le permitía identificar a la dialéctica platónica como un mecanismo de fundamentación, selección y jerarquización. El objetivo de este texto consiste en dilucidar la función del simulacro allí donde la tematización del ejercicio dialéctico no es protagonista del diálogo. La cuestión del simulacro adquiere una urgencia ético-política palmaria en los momentos en los que Platón se detiene a explicar la naturaleza del hombre y su psyché. Al ampliar la lectura deleuzeana a diálogos como Fedón, República o Timeo, el problema de la exclusión de las malas copias se acusa y encuentra nuevos límites.

    Deleuze thematized Plato as the most important precursor of the fourfold root of representation. The notion of simulacrum enabled him to characterize Platonic dialectic as a mechanism of foundation, selection and hierarchization. The aim of this text is to clarify the function of the simulacrum in the parts of the dialogue where dialectics are less present. The simulacrum achieves an ethical-political importance when Plato explains the nature of the human being and its psyche. By expanding on Deleuze�s interpretation through dialogues like Phaedo, Republica or Timaeus, the problem of the exclusion of the bad copies is exacerbated and founds its new limits
