Resumen de The Reputation of Bomarzo
Since writing my article "Some early literary references to Italian gardens" published in this Journal, Vol. 2, No. 1, I have been given a further important notice of Bomarzo in a book printed in Vicino Orsini's lifetime. The book in question is the Arcadia of Jacopo Sannazaro, edited by Francesco Sansovino, and printed by Giovanni Varisco (Venice, 1578). It is dedicated by Sansovino to the owner of Bomarzo, who is addressed in the following terms.
