As the popularity of mobile/smart phones among high school and college students continues to increase, educators are looking for ways to integrate this technology into the learning environment. This research explores tourism students' perceptions and usage of mobile learning (m-learning) within the College of Business and Leadership at a mid-western state comprehensive university. These results were analyzed along with existing literature on m-learning to help develop a guide for initiating mobile learning educational experiences. Understanding m-learning from the students' perspective will help both faculty and instructional designers create course content that will be perceived as useful and beneficial by students.
