Resumen de Parks and Gardens Departments in the former GDR: the example of Leipzig
In order to understand the developments in Germany and in particular in the Soviet Occupied Zone-later the German Democratic Republic-I would like to draw attention to a number of historical connections. Without this knowledge, the ideological, economic, State-oriented and administrative or organizational processes of development in the former divided Germany are difficult to comprehend.
