Resumen de La pensée des possibles au temps des "alternatives infernales"

The thought of possibilities at the time of the "infernal alternatives" Henri Lefebvre was a committed intellectual who did not distinguish between his life, what he considered as the matter of knowledge and what justified his commitment. He studied the city and the daily life for disclosing the motivating forces behind the social change. From 1965 to 1968, he was teaching at University of Nanterre and then he analyzed the becoming of this university and the rising anti-establishment movement. In this paper, forty years later, I would like to observe this university from the point of view of the Lefebvre's analyses of space and daily life. What is the impact of this "thought of possibilities" in the context of general resignation and in front of the university's economic rationalization.

Henri Lefebvre était un intellectuel engagé n'opérant aucune césure entre ce qu'il vivait, ce qu'il définissait comme objet de connaissance et ce qui motivait son engagement militant. Il pensait la ville et le quotidien pour trouver les ressorts du changement social. Enseignant à Nanterre de 1965 à 1968 il a analysé avec perspicacité l'espace en devenir de la Faculté et le mouvement contestataire qui y sourdait. Dans cet article, nous proposons d'observer cette université quarante ans plus tard au prisme des analyses de l'espace et de la vie quotidienne proposées par l'auteur. Nous interrogerons la portée de cette "pensée des possibles" dans un contexte de résignation généralisé face à la rationalisation économique des universités.
