Caracterización mineralógica y química de la granodiorita de Los Pedroches en la zona de cizalla dúctil de Conquista

  • The northern edge of Los Pedroches granodioritic pluton is deformed by the Conquista fault, a right ductile shear zone with a normal component. Consecuently, the rocks of this sector show gradual texture-structural modifications, without any differences in their modal mineralogy. Chemically, the minimal variations observed, instead of the deformation are a cause of the diferentiation by fractional crystallization, of plagioclase, biotite, amphibole, apatite and ilmenite. The high-temperature deformational processes -near to the magmatic solidus- observed in the Los Pedroches granodiorite, have not related any significant chemical alteration
