    La intervención realizada en el poblado de Murugain ha sacado a luz varios tramos de la muralla de la Edad del Hierro que rodea el promontorio, así como material cerámico y lítico adscribible a este mismo periodo. Por otra parte se han excavado las trincheras de la Guerra Civil realizadas paralelamente a la muralla, lo cual ha posibilitado el hallazgo de una amplia colección de cartuchería, latas de comida y material metálico de diversa índole que reflejan la particular microhistoria de las trincheras y dan cuenta de la estratégica posición militar de Murugain dentro del frente del Norte.

    Murugaingo herriskan burutako arkeologia lanek bertako mendi-gaina inguratzen duen harresiaren zenbait zati azaleratu dituzte eta garai berdinari dagozkion zeramika zatiak eta harrizko materiala jaso da. Bestetik, harresi honekiko lerraduran egindako Gerra Zibileko lubakiak industu dira; honek bala-zorro sorta bat, janari latak eta bestelako material metalikoen aurkikuntza ahalbideratu du, modu honetan lubakietan bizi izandako mikrohistoria berreraiki ahal da eta Murugainek gatazka zibilean betetako funtsezko posizio militarra agerian jarri da.

    The intervention in the town of Murugain has brought forth several sections of the wall of the Iron Age around the promontory, and ceramic and lithic material assignable to this period. On the other hand have dug the trenches of the Civil War made parallel to the wall, which has enabled the discovery of a large collection of cartridge factory, food cans and metal material of various kinds that reflect the particular micro-history of the trenches and give account of the strategic military position in the front Murugain North.
