  Hernan Cortes and the axial requirement of Cempoala in the conquest of Mexico-Tenochtitlan his article examine the relevance of Cempoala (the ancient totonaca capital) in the strategic actions developed by Hernan Cortes, in order to conquest Mexico Tenochtilan, the major city of Mexica goverment. Stand out also the politic swindles that guide the militar actions of the �extremeño� conqueror.
